Friday Again

This week disappeared in a strangely slow, yet quick way. I made some strong realizations and some less than pleasant ones. We decided to move forward and really look for the place we belong. For both of us, Durango is a wonderful place. It's where we discovered our love. It's where we picked up Raymee, our first official dog together. It's where our first son was born, and where my beloved husky passed away. It's where we have found balance in our lives, realized health and made goals. It's where we decided we wanted a big family, with lots of love, lots of animals and lots of land.
Those goals, we both believe, will be leading us elsewhere. To other adventures. Where that will be, we do not know right now. We have ideas. Have been searching states and small towns, looking at homes we think we could grow with our family. Spring is in full force, drifting closer to Summer. Today the sky is filled with storm clouds, brightening and darkening the sidewalks.
Today, I want to spend it with the little, playing and working on my next quilt, but am stuck in the office. TGIF, i am looking forward to making some more specific goals, looking to expand myself, looking forward to achieving goals instead of constantly mooning over other peoples lives and wishing. I also plan to make hot sauce, lots of it. Beautifully orange, spicy, yummy hot sauce.
